ConocoPhillips operates the Southeast Louisiana Area located in/around the Houma, Louisiana Area.
Transportation of personnel via boats to production facilities, wells and living quarters in the Inland Waters of Louisiana.

Responsibilities

* Work SAFELY and Participate in STOP Program.
* Monitor and optimize oil and gas production and facilities utilizing SCADA system.
* Troubleshoot well problems; work with supervisors/superindendent and engineers to implement corrective action.
* Troubleshoot facility and process problems, work with supervisors/superintendent and engineers to implement corrective action.
* Gather and report readings from oil/water/gas, pipeline, fuel gas and flare meters.
* Coordinate activity with contract operators, maintenance, construction and well servicing groups and third party services.
* Perform well tests.
* Launch pipeline pigs.
* Perform lock-out and tag-out equipment and systems.
* Determine daily produced volumes and calculate downtime.
* Provide  production volume information and downtime into Control Room Operators to enter into electronic databases.
* Monitor performance of chemical program.
* Conduct visual maintenance inspections.
* Create maintenance notifications in SAP.
* Understand the safety/environmental policies and regulations; ensure compliance by all personnel in work group.
* Perform minor maintenance and housekeeping.
* Operates small boats safely to access wells/facilities.

Qualifications

Basic/Required Qualifications

* Five years direct experience in oil and gas production.
* Ability to work a 7 day on 7 day off work schedule.
* Ability to work well in a diverse team environment.
* Valid driver's license.
* Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally.
* Legally authorized to work in the United States on a regular full-time basis without restrictions.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working on inland waters, onshore/offshore platforms.
* Direct experience with a maintenance management system, such as SAP.
* Graduates from petroleum technology programs or equivalent.
