Description
Work Location: Bryan, Texas
An Operations Associate works rotating shifts to assist with the manufacture of specialized flow improving products utilized in crude and refined products pipelines. The Operations Associate is responsible for the efficient and safe operation of the Process equipment. All associates are trained according to the process area Training and Development program.
Responsibilities:
Operations Associates have specific responsibilities to:
* Operate the Production Processes following authorized Operating Procedures, Work Instructions and Standard Operating Conditions (SOC).
* Emphasize Safety on a continuous basis.
* Drive continuous improvement in their specific process area, optimizing equipment efficiency, reliability, total capacity and quality levels in unison with other area teams.
* Maintain and optimize all procedures and work instructions related to each process area.
* Record documentation for tracking all aspects of production using Microsoft Excel and other internal database systems.
* Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance of equipment and systems to ensure quality. Document and coordinate with maintenance specialists when needed.
* Actively manage the Mechanical Integrity efforts at Bryan to ensure program compliance and target 99% equipment uptime and efficiency.
* Proactively communicate regarding the need for spare parts and preventative maintenance
* Assist in troubleshooting non-conformance products through the use of the Trouble Reports System, teamwork and collaboration to correct the situation.
* Work with the Operations Resource to identify training needs and participate in the training to improve individual progression and overall plant performance.
* May be assigned to move product from tanks to trucks using truck rack facility.
Pay is dependent upon skills and qualifications. $15.00/hr minimum
Relocation is not available for this position.
Qualifications
Basic/Required Qualifications
* Must be at least 18
*
Have a valid driver's license
*
High school diploma or G.E.D.
*
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a regular full-time basis without restrictions
*
Able to work rotating 12-hour shifts, lift and carry loads of 50 lbs, and perform tasks at elevated levels.
*
Willingness to perform/comply with the following:

Comply with all safety procedures and willing to maintain proper and safe process operations of the operating equipment
*
To read technical procedures and materials in English
*
To learn computer software associated with process operations
Preferred Qualifications
* Associate's degree or Technical certification from an accredited school, preferred.
* Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks.

Capable of effectively communicating both orally and in writing to internal and external customers in a clear and concise manner.
* Strong belief in the value of teams and the capability to work in a team environment

Adjusts rapidly to unexpected or changing conditions and helps others to make similar adjustments.
